Annual Meeting and Adult Recognition Ceremony

Join Girl Scouts of Gateway Council for our Annual Meeting and Adult Recognition Ceremony at the Thrasher Horne Center on Sunday, April 2, 1-2 p.m.

Annual Meeting

Our bylaws require an Annual Meeting of the corporate membership comprised of board members, nominating committee members, council delegates and members of Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. During the meeting, highlights of our 2016 year will be presented, any amendments to the bylaws will be proposed, key issues affecting the council and the Movement will be discussed, along with any other business appropriate to come before the corporation in accordance with the process established by the board of directors.

Adult Recognition

Immediately following the Annual Meeting, we will continue with the Adult Recognition Ceremony. During the ceremony, Girl Scouts of Gateway Council will highlight and celebrate all of those who give so much of their time and skills to empower our girl members. Nearly 4,000 adult volunteers serve as mentors, leaders, guides and providers of inspiration to girls. Join us at this special ceremony to thank and award over 100 volunteers for their service and contributions to our organization. Each awardee has been nominated by their peers for the work they have done to move our goals as one council forward.

Note: Young Women of Distinction will take place Sunday, April 2, 3-5 p.m., prior to the Annual Meeting and Adult Recognition ceremony. If you plan to attend the YWOD ceremony, please register separately for that event.
